The concrete pressure meter is used for measuring the amount of entrained air in freshly mixed concrete. The test method equalizes a known volume of air in the pressure chamber, with the unknown value of entrained air in the meter's concrete filled base. The amount of entrained air is then read on the meter's 3 1/2" (89 mm) diameter gauge as the direct percentage of air entrained in the sample.

Constructed of cast aluminum, the concrete pressure meter is durable yet lightweight. Four one-piece, self-locking clamps have the proper tension for sealing the lid to the base, an "O"-ring seal in the lid also assures a solid water tight seal.

A direct percentage reading gauge with calibration adjustments is readable to the nearest 1/10 of a percent. The gauge is positioned on top of the meter's air chamber at a 45 degree angle for easy reading by the user. The gauge needle-stem and all pivot points in the gauge use mounting bushings to reduce friction and wear for better long term accuracy.

The concrete pressure meter features an all brass pump with elongated stroke to build test pressure faster with fewer strokes. Its unique pop(TM) it-value eliminates "O"-ring seal problems associated with other types of pumps. The pump also has a large, easy-to-grip plastic knob for operator convenience.

The meter comes complete with carrying case, syringe, tamping rod, strike-off-bar, calibration vessel, inside and outside calibration tubes and instructions.

Case provided may be different than shown.
